MUHAMMAD WAS NOT THE COMFORTER - BIBLE PROOF
The Comforter cannot be seen by the world “The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him” John 14:17
- [Muhammad was seen and the world knows him. ]
The Comforter “abides with you and will be in you.” John 14:17
- [Mohammed does not abide in people.]
The Comforter is sent by the Father in Jesus’ name, “whom the Father will send in my name”. (John 14:26)
- [Mohammed never claimed to be sent in Jesus name.]
The Comforter ” will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” (John 14:26).
- [Muhammad did not help people to remember what Jesus taught them.]
The Comforter will “be with you forever” (John 14:16).
- As you can see, the Comforter cannot be Muhammad
Jesus predicts the coming of the helper/COMFORTER.
“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another helper…” (John 14:16).
Muslims claim that Jesus’ reference to the coming of the “Helper” as a prediction of Muhammad. It is asserted that the Greek word “paraclete” translated as “helper” is said to be incorrect.
Muslims insist that the correct word should be “paraclytos” which is translated as “Ahmad” or Muhammad”.
There are over 5,686 Greek manuscripts of the New Testament, and there is no manuscript authority for placing the word “paraclytos” in the original Greek rather than “paraclete”.
Taking the verse [ in context ] we continue to read:
“…another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees Him or knows Him; but you know Him for he dwells with you and will be in you”.
Jesus promised the Helper to “you”, the apostles. Muhammad did not know the apostles as he was born around 600 years later nor has abided with them forever. The world did see Muhammad unlike the Holy Spirit.
In verse 26 we read:
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the father will send in My name, He will teach all things, and bring to your remembrance all things I have said to you”. ''YOU DISCIPLES''
Jesus blatantly calls the helper “the Holy Spirit” and He is sent in Jesus’ name. Muhammad is not the Holy Spirit and came in the name of Allah, not Jesus.
It is fallacious for Muslims to assert that the preceding passages refer to Islam’s founder. It is done only in a desperate attempt to claim prophethood for Muhammad from Biblical scripture which does not exist anywhere in scriptures.
Please be not be deceived by other religions aside Christianity. Lord Jesus Christ is the only true God that have life. Repent from your sins and accept Him into your life today.
