Ghana Youth, Why? – A Wake-Up Call for Our Generation.

Why are we losing so many of our young people? What is happening?

Every day, we hear of young lives being lost—14-year-olds, 15, 16, 17, and 18—gone too soon. These quick deaths have become far too common. This is not normal, and it is not the will of God.

The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 12:1,
"Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come."

But the devil knows the potential we carry as young people. He knows we are the future leaders, the ones who will bring change, so he has risen against us. He’s distracting us with sin, bad relationships, and harmful behaviors that lead to early death.

God’s Promise for You

I am here to remind you today that God has plans for you— "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).

Let us wake up as the youth of Ghana and live lives that glorify God. Turn away from sin, stay away from destructive habits, and trust in the Lord to protect you.

A Prayer for You

I pray for everyone reading this:

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ,

May God protect you from every plan of the enemy.
May He guide your steps and cover you with His blood.
May He strengthen you to live a righteous life and avoid the traps of the devil.
May no weapon formed against you prosper, and may you fulfill the purpose God has for your life.

A Call to Parents, Guardians, and Leaders

Parents, guardians, and leaders, please speak to the youth. Let us counsel them, pray for them, and guide them. The youth are the future, and their lives are precious.

To the youth: Stay close to God, and He will stay close to you. The Bible says in James 4:8,
"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you."
